La Laguna Negra:
To the south of Urbión peak, amongst the pines and surrounded by legends, lies the Laguna Negra. This dark, fascinating and enigmatic lake is one of the most beautiful attractions of the province of Soria and the scene of the Antonio Machado’s legend of Alvargonzález. Situated between rocks and surrounded by pine trees, the lake is immersed in legend and in the mystery of the echoing voices of those who visit it.

Picos de Urbión Nature Reserve:
The Picos de Urbión are noted for their expansive forests of wild pine trees, which have aptly given the region the Spanish name “región pinariega”. They are made up of many sites of outstanding and incomparable natural beauty, as well as the source of the river Duero, found at the heart of the Picos de Urbión.
